Before we head on to Vaduz , Innsbruck and Salzburg, we are heading to see the Lion Monument first. The Lion Monument in Lucerne is a giant dying lion carved out of a wall of sandstone rock above a pond at the east end of the medieval town. It was designed as a memorial for the mercenary soldiers from central Switzerland who lost their lives while serving the French king Louis XVI during the French Revolution.

Depart Switzerland and make a brief stop at the charming village of Vaduz, capital of Liechtenstein. The most prominent landmark of Vaduz is Vaduz Castle. the home of the reigning prince of Liechtenstein and the Liechtenstein princely family. The castle is visible from almost any location in Vaduz, being perched atop a steep hill in the middle of the city. The Cathedral of St Florin, Government House and City Hall are also well-known landmarks, displaying the various styles and periods of architecture that the city is known for.

We will be able to see Mirabell Palace, Residence Square, Mozart Square and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Birthplace at No.9 Getridgegasse Street.
Some may even wish to visit the Mozart Museum at own expenses.
